Strawberry Angel Cake Dessert

Ingredients
- 6 oz strawberry Jello
- 16 oz frozen strawberries
- 9" angel food cake
- 2 cups hot water
Directions
- In a large mixing bowl, dissolve the jello in the hot water. Add the frozen strawberries, stirring until the berries are thawed and the jello is syrupy.
- Press the cake into the jello mixture. Cover the bowl and tip it to coat the cake thoroughly.
- Refrigerate 2 hours before serving.
- Let sit at room temperature at least 15 min, then invert onto a 10" cake taker, frost with Cool Whip, and enjoy.
Notes
- I use a large Tupperware mixing bowl with a seal for this. You can buy an angel food cake, or make your own from a mix.
