Cheesy Garlic Biscuits
Ingredients
Using Bisquick:
- 2 cups Bisquick mix
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
Standard pantry version:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/3 cup cold butter, cubed
- 2/3 cup cold milk
- 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted (for topping)
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder (for topping)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Combine the dry ingredients and cut in the butter with a pastry cutter. Add the cheese and milk and stir until a soft dough forms.
- Drop by spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Melt the butter and combine with the garlic powder. Place the warm biscuits on waxed paper and brush the garlic butter over the tops.

- Best served warm.
