Brownie Drops

Ingredients

• 3/4 cup shortening
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• 1 egg
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup cocoa
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

1. Cream the shortening and sugar. Add the vanilla and egg, beat well.
2. Sift together the dry ingredients and add alternately with the milk, mixing well. Stir in the nuts.
3. Drop from a teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F for about 12 minutes. Cool.
